I use amazon sometimes. Usually I buy used because they are cheaper and I don’t really care if they have been previously owned because the words will still be the same either way, plus they always come in good condition. Sometimes they take a long time to arrive, but the cheap prices make up for it.
you’re right some of the books are used and sold by normal people, but you can also get ones amazon sells new. when you go into a book, you click on the link that says how many new& used then you have a look at them. amazon only sells 1st hand books and they usually say it’s them that’s selling it. otherwise it’s like ebay, you can see how good the person you’re buying a book from is.
once you get used to it it’s a fantastic website. i’ve got tonnes of novels from there. they always delivery everything i order in great condition
